Incineration: not the work of the devil

There are plans to expand the Eastcroft incinerator, about a mile from where I live in Nottingham. I visited the plant in November and I've produced this article now. The main point is that how we deal with waste should be a technical discussion that balances the inconvenience of landfill, and possible pollution, with the cost of alternatives. Instead, however, recycling and re-use are put onto a pedestal.
